
Regina Pacis polyphonic choir
Morolo
The Regina Pacis polyphonic choir from Morolo (FR) operates in Santa Maria Assunta Church in the same little town since 2005. Its first aim is liturgical entertainment on Sundays and other catholic celebrations during church year.
It is formed by about 20 members with different tones of voices ad it has also an instrumental section composed by violin, traverse flute and organ.
Since 2009, it started concerts and soon it became famous in other near towns. It had ever promoted meetings with others choirs, so, during the years, it sang in Carpineto Romano, Ferentino, Supino, Anagni and Serrone where it cooperated with local winds and percussions band.
Since 2014, together the vocal section, it started with ensemble workshop to allow to young musicians to improve their capacities to play ensemble music.
In 2016 and 2017, it took part to choral exhibition in Anagni, in occasion of Santa Cecilia’s celebrations: here it met other choirs getting large agreement.
In 2018, it took part to international meeting “Corali in Vaticano” organized in Aula Paolo VI in Rome.
In 2019, it enlivened a live concert up in Ferentino in the residence of serious sick people “Piccolo Rifugio”.
