2022’s edition of the Festival of Sacred Franciscan Music goes on with a friday full of events: three
\nmoments of dialogue, music and meeting.
\nAfter the great success of the first concert, that took place on thursday evening thanks to the
\n\u201cArmoniosoInCanto\u201d Vocal Group, we go on with the festival rendez vous: 16 vocal and orchestra
\ngroups, more than 370 artists coming from different parts of Italy are going to give life to the ninth edition
\nof Assisi Pax Mundi.
\nThe first concert of Friday the 21<\/p>\n
st of October will start at 11:30 a.m. in the Church of Santa Maria in
\nMinerva with the \u201cMedievales \u00c6tnei\u201d Ensemble coming from Patern\u00f2. In the afternoon, it will be the
\nturn of the \u201cLaudate et Benedicite\u201d Liturgic Choir from Sassari that will perform in the Santa Chiarella
\nOratory at 5 p.m.
\nThe day will end with the concert of the Manos Blancas Choir from San Vito al Tagliamento with the
\ncooperation of Noincanto e Naonis Clarinet Ensemble and the Choir of Ittireddu (Ittireddu SS): it will
\noccur at 9 p.m. in the Saint Rufino Cathedral.
\nSaturday will be an other very busy day: music will start spreading through the franciscan places at 11
\na.m. in Saint Peter Church. Two choirs are going to perform their concerts: the Polimnia Polyphonic
\nChoir (Padule SA) and the Magnificat Choir (Barrafranca EN). In the afternoon, at 4, a concert will take
\nplace in Saint Pater Church with the \u201cSturm und Drang\u201d Polyphonic Choir coming from Patern\u00f2 and
\nthe Choir of the Basilica of Sorrento.
\nAs usual, the Saturday night appointment will be the moment for a collective meeting that will allow to
\nall participating groups to meet each other in a unique shared concert. They are going to sing all
\ntoghether on saturday the 23<\/p>\n
rd of October at 8:30 p.m. in the Saint Francis Upper Basilica.
\nMusic scores of the franciscan songs performed during the festival will be put on sale at the Sacred
\nConvent shop and at the International Franciscan Library.
\nThe festival is realized thanks to the contribution of the Ministry of Culture, the Umbria Region, the City of
